Submission for a competition for a design that would be necessary or activated during a natural disaster.  We designed a system of aid stations that would provide seismic relief for the city of San Francisco after an earthquake.  The aid stations represent a new typology of Urban Responsive Infrastructure inspired by the very tecttonics that threaten major populations in seismic zones.  They were conceived to be a "shock-absorber" - providing immediate relief and resource coordination in a time of natural crisis.
